Melon label

I sure would like to know what the melon was, but this label does not help. About all I can read is that it comes from Spain. (I purchased it at Dia in Nice.)

Why is it that a package of salmon at Costco, or anywhere else, has no information on it about ingredients, nutrition, etc.?

It's surprising that there is not a better way of finding specific products in a store before going there. Here, the break between the first list (of one) and the second is whether there has been a bar code scan of the product in the last 30 days. I am about to buy some carob chips at Whole Foods in Chapel Hill and it will be interesting to see if that changes the store on this search later.
