Aldi

Why doesn't Aldi get more attention locally. Soups (Campbell's and that Walmart house brand) look to be 1.25-1.35. At Aldi, .79 for the same can, with Aldi house label, of chicken with rice.

Lard

I heard Alex WAGNER on MSNBC talk about the mother who has had to revert to lard for cooking because of the cost of living, and then a BBC interview with an Italian who said she would never switch to lard away from increasingly expensive olive oil.
