Ratatouille et al

Had some ratatouille from a can last night - first night back in Nice. Excellent! Also some almonds that I had bathed in olive oil and then coated with some cinnamon. A pomme rhubarbe mix for dessert, a product that keeps here at room temperature. Washed it down with a great glass of Cotes du Rhone from one of my favorite boxes!

This is nice on one level, but it tells us nothing about these foods, where they come from or why - other than an alleged North Carolina connection - we customers should buy any of this stuff. Incredible!
