I wonder how one can convince the people who help bag food at Lowes to use fewer plastic bags if you go in without enough of your own to hold your order as I did yesterday. I wound up with a 5 or so that may get used again at home and then recycled. Seems like a needless waste.

I suppose spending $250 on a cooking class is a good way to fire some money into the local economy. Why don't all the rich people in Chapel Hill either sign up for a class or buy multiple enrollments for people less wealthy than they? That should have a positive local impact, no?
