Was it indeed potatoes that I was eating? Or something else?

Mr.
Maguire,
So
sorry to hear that your Moussaka was sub par. I have let the chefs know and
they will make the adjustments as they see fit. Both chefs in house are
Giorgios Bakatsias own brother and sister- we are as Greek as it gets!
Thank
you for your insight, we appreciate it very much!
Please
let me know if there’s anything I can do for you and we hope to see you back at
Kipos again soon!
Best,
Katie

Message/Question:
I ate at Kipos last night, ordered the moussaka and was startled to find virtually no eggplant or meat in the dish, but instead a bowl full of potatoes and sauce. Is this the way you usually prepare this dish? Please point me to the recipe from a Greek source. Overall, I would rate the meal at about a 5 on a 0-10 scale.
