"From Hurricane Katrina To Food Scarcity: Environment Reporter Joel Bourne: Eastern North Carolina native Joel Bourne was living on his family farm during the Green Revolution in the mid-20th century. At that time, newly modified wheat seeds produced an agricultural boom that allowed farmers across the world to grow more crops than ever before. It was the answer to a growing crisis of food scarcity. But it also meant the crops would need more pesticides than ever before. Bourne immediately noticed the strong connection between food and the environment, and it thrust him into a career as an environment reporter for Mother Earth News, Defenders of Wildlife, and National Geographic. Nearly 25 years later, Bourne has covered the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, the Gulf Oil Spill, and now has returned to the subject of food scarcity. Host Frank Stasio talks with Bourne about how his origins in eastern North Carolina led to a career of covering the top environmental stories in the United States. Bourne's new book, The End of Plenty (W.W. Norton & Company/2015), argues that as much food must be produced in the next four decades as has been produced since the beginning of civilization."

mahi mahi lowes foods - Google Search
Quite remarkable that I cannot search and pull up the mahi mahi on sale at Lowes Foods and COSTCO. Lowes is a single fillet, frozen, about 3 lbs between 6 and 7 USD/lb. COSTCO cuts theirs into smaller pieces before freezing and sells them in a 3 lbs bag for about 20 USD. Neither can be accessed in a web search.

Mr.
Maguire,
So
sorry to hear that your Moussaka was sub par. I have let the chefs know and
they will make the adjustments as they see fit. Both chefs in house are
Giorgios Bakatsias own brother and sister- we are as Greek as it gets!
Thank
you for your insight, we appreciate it very much!
Please
let me know if there’s anything I can do for you and we hope to see you back at
Kipos again soon!
Best,
Katie

Message/Question:
I ate at Kipos last night, ordered the moussaka and was startled to find virtually no eggplant or meat in the dish, but instead a bowl full of potatoes and sauce. Is this the way you usually prepare this dish? Please point me to the recipe from a Greek source. Overall, I would rate the meal at about a 5 on a 0-10 scale.

Nutrition : attention aux faux-amis - Santé - Télématin - France 2
Extremely helpful!
