Cookbooks - Historic Charleston Foundation

Seeing these books and others makes me wonder what the current state of cookbooks is. How many more people are cooking from printouts, smartphones, tablets? Who is buying what? Who is creating what? What does it have to do with how well we eat and how much our eating costs us?
